Natural flaky graphite forms GIC(graphite intercalation compound) after chemical treatment , which can decompose rapidly when being heated and turns into granular expandable material.Ihe density  of the graphit powder is about 0.003g/cc,then it can turn into graphite sheets by rolling process.

It is characterized by high-temperature resistance and low-temperature resistance, corrosion resistance to a variety of media, and it has the performance of good self-lubricating,low friction coefficient,special flexibility and elasticity.
